mozoot-xbox-live-logo100909Microsoft has announced that they are now working on Xbox Live compatible iOS and Android apps which I think is the smart thing to do. Up until today, Microsoft has only made their apps exclusive to Windows Phone users.

Unfortunately, there have been no reports of an ETA on the said apps but this would certainly pave the way for full integration of Microsoft Xbox 360 games into mobile devices. I am guessing full access to player stats, who’s online and what they’re playing and more.

Vehicular accidents due to cellphone use while driving is becoming more and more rampant in the United States with over 3,000 recorded incidents in this year alone. Because of this, the National Transportation Safety Board is proposing a nationwide ban of cellphone use while driving.

I have to admit, before hearing about this news, I thought a law similar to this is already in place, but apparently, only a number of states have solid laws in place. This proposal will change all that.

As years go by, mobile payments is becoming more and more accepted by consumers, and from Fiserv’s report, it looks as though the industry is growing faster than what we’ve expected. The research showed that more than 6 million Americans have used their smartphones to pay for their bills at one point last year.

I can relate the success of mobile payments on the growing number of smartphones and how merchants and service providers have employed their own mobile payment systems for their customers.

And now, we’ve got Near Field Communication, Google Wallet and other means of mobile payments that would even boost the industry further.

The iPhone 5 may probably be the biggest product to ever be launched this year and since we’ve first heard about it, there have been countless rumors that came out. Now, a new page from Case Mate which displays what appears to be iPhone 5 cases actually hints that the phone will have major changes in its design.
From the looks of it, the iPhone 5 will have a slimmer orientation and a much bigger screen. However, let me remind you that this is just a mock-up and it would probably be best to just wait till Apple actually releases the device.
